Ten city employees in Maintenance Services management will receive pay increases between 4% and 9%.

The Personnel Department continually reviews the city’s classification specifications and accompanying pay levels to ensure job descriptions and responsibilities are accurate and compensation is appropriate. The department’s goal is to review each job description every five years. The review of the ten Maintenance Services management positions began in late 1999.

For the period Jan. 22 through June 30, the cost of the these increases is estimated to be $16,470. For the fiscal year 2000-01, the cost of these increases is approximately $42,970.
