The city library recently installed 18 computer workstations, including six with Internet access and 12 for library public access catalog use.

The library system is undergoing an electronic face-lift, switching from a text-based computer system to the more popular, graphics-based Windows system to keep up with the latest technology. Some of the features the new computers provide are best-seller lists, a patron profile system to check library records and better access to the library’s online database subscriptions

The library is at 17365 Los Alamos St.
