Networking Firm Deal Done, Conexant Says

Newport Beach chip maker Conexant Systems Inc. said it has completed its acquisition of Maker Communications, a small Massachusetts networking technology firm, in a stock swap valued at nearly $1 billion at the time the deal was first announced in December.
