TUSTIN

The Tustin Unified School Board named four new schools in Tustin Ranch and Irvine during a board meeting Monday night.

The school on Rawlings Way in Tustin Ranch, opening in spring 2001, was named Ladera Elementary School; the school on Viewpark Avenue in Irvine, tentatively scheduled to open in 2001, was named Hicks Canyon Elementary School; the school on Trevino Drive in Irvine, tentatively scheduled to open in 2001, was named Myford Elementary; and the school at Bryan Avenue and Culver Drive in Irvine, tentatively scheduled to open in fall 2003, was named Arnold O. Beckman High School.
