Web Firms Expand Reach Via Joint Ventures

Two other Orange County-based Web sites hope to boost traffic by reaching deals with outside companies.

Tradebonds.com, an online bond brokerage, is partnering with Income Securities Advisor to offer ISA’s fixed-income newsletters through the site.

A division of Finacorp Securities, Newport Beach-based Tradebonds.com was launched in May to provide institutions and investors with news and research about a variety of bonds, including municipal, corporate and government bonds.

Under the partnership with Income Securities Advisor, two fixed-income newsletters, the Income Securities Newsletter and the Defaulted Bonds Newsletter, will provide Tradebonds.com clients with tips and market commentary, according to Ed Prado, founder of Tradebonds.com.

Finally, LoansDirect Inc., a Huntington Beach-based online mortgage lender, said that it has teamed with MyBankUSA.com to offer home loans to the online bank’s customers.

The company, which originated $1.4 billion in loans last year, ranked third in a recent scorecard of top mortgage Web sites produced by consulting firm Gomez Advisors.
