DDi Corp. to Acquire Britain’s MCM for Stock

DDi Corp., an Anaheim designer of circuit board prototypes, said Wednesday it agreed to acquire MCM Electronics Ltd. for about $86 million in stock to increase its presence in Europe. MCM Electronics, formed last July in a management buyout of Symonds Plc, makes circuit boards and other products for Alcatel, Rotork Plc and other companies.
The British company, which will become a unit of DDi, had about $58 million in revenue last year.
