Schools

Schools are a product of failing communities in today’s apathetic and blaming society. Educrats have managed to destroy academic excellence and many parents have lost the emphasis on the importance of an education and lack involvement in their child’s schooling. In over three decades of teaching, I have witnessed such a tremendous blame on public schools, teachers and administrators.

We give everything: free breakfasts, lunches, bus passes, before- and after-school care, medical and dental assistance, free school supplies, counseling, disciplining, education in values and nurturing. Where lies the responsibility of the main component in the education of a child--the parent or guardian? Schools will continue to fail until respect for education is transmitted in the home to the child. This is the only solution to end this vicious cycle of poverty and failing schools!
