U.S. Bar Honors Court’s Mobile Access Center

Ventura Superior Court’s Mobile Self-Help Legal Access Center received meritorious recognition from the American Bar Assn. The center was awarded the Louis M. Brown Award for Legal Access. The converted 35-foot mobile home--outfitted with computers, video stations, books and self-help instructional material--travels through communities so individuals can more readily access information to pursue their own legal resolutions.

Oxnard Art Assn. Names Exhibit Winners

The Oxnard Art Assn. announced winners in its juried exhibition, “The Great Outdoors.” The show is on display through May 3 at American Commercial Bank in Oxnard.
