Net Effects on the Industry

Experts from leading technology companies and more than 40 real estate industry executives will examine the impact of the Internet and other technological advances on the real estate industry in an all-day conference April 17 at the Century Plaza Hotel in Los Angeles.

Called “Technology + Real Estate,” the event will be produced by Beverly Hills-based Real Estate Conference Group and will offer continuing education credits.

Keynote speakers will include Bret P. Arsenault, chief technology officer of the EBusiness Solutions Group of Microsoft Corp.; James C. Watson, president of EDevelopments.com and former president of Koll Development Co.; and David A. Carlquist, president of Net.Generation Business at IBM.

Featured speakers will include B. Kipling Hagopian, a special limited partner at Brentwood Venture Capital; William A. Millichap, president of Marcus & Millichap; John Tuccillo, author of the book “Click and Close;” and Linda Vance, senior vice president of multifamily systems development for Fannie Mae.
