Looking for contract opportunities with the upcoming Democratic National Convention?

Convention organizers are putting together a small-business database, Web site and print directory. They’ll be providing this information to visiting party caucuses and state delegations to encourage them to use small, minority and women-owned local firms.

The 2000 Democratic Convention is expected to draw as many as 35,000 to Los Angeles in August.

Interested businesses must fill out a form that will be screened by the Democratic National Convention Committee. The deadline to get listed in the print directory is Friday. Businesses that submit the required information after Friday can still be listed on the central database available at https://www.dems2000.com. For a form or more information, call the DNCC’s Business Development Office at (213) 362-2092.
