Zland.com Plans to Sell Common Stock

Zland.com, an Aliso Viejo developer of Internet software for small and mid-sized companies, plans to sell up to $50 million of common stock in an initial public offering, according to regulatory documents filed Wednesday.

The company did not disclose how many shares it plans to offer or a price range in its filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The company plans to use proceeds to increase sales and marketing, and expand international operations, fund product development and fund general corporate purposes.

Zland lost $12.9 million, or 68 cents a share, on a pro forma basis last year. Its revenue was $9.4 million.
