Thomas E. Davin Will Lead Entrepreneur.com

Thomas E. Davin has been appointed president and chief executive of Entrepreneur.com in Irvine, a new subsidiary of Entrepreneur Media Inc. Davin had been chief operating officer for Taco Bell Corp. for the last three years and an executive at the parent company, Tricon Global Restaurants Inc. Davin was one of the founding partners who created Tricon as a spinoff from PepsiCo Inc. in 1997.

* Peter G. Spitzer has joined Aspeon Solutions Inc. in Irvine in the new position of chief technology officer. Spitzer was formerly vice president of strategic systems for Dendrite International. Before that, he was chief science officer for Ameritech Knowledge Data, chief information officer for Texas Children’s Hospital and assistant vice president for American Medical International’s Professional Hospital Services division.

* Tim G. Porter has joined Corbin & Wertz’s practice development team. Before joining the Irvine professional services company, Porter was an independent consultant. He also worked for Union Bank, Lloyds, Commerce Bank, Banamex and Pioneer Bank.

* H.K. Desai has joined the board of directors of Microsemi Corp. in Santa Ana. He is chairman, president and chief executive of QLogic Corp. in Costa Mesa.

* Patricia Glasser has been chosen research director of Morpace International Inc.’s Western states and Pacific Rim regional office in Irvine. She was formerly executive vice president of Beta Research West Inc.
