Quackenbush

Will Insurance Commissioner Chuck Quackenbush be kind enough to step down, or will he make the taxpayers do whatever is necessary to remove him from the position of trust and civic duty to which he was elected? The sordid tale of the depth of his corruption grows by the day.

If the Northridge quake had not damaged the lives of so many people, compounded by the arrogance and greed of the insurance companies, this story would be comical. Only a consummate politician could continue to go into the office each day, face his staff and rationalize away each new sorry revelation. Please, sir, it’s time for you to go.

Rather than using Shaquille O’Neal as his spokesman, Quackenbush should have chosen the L.A. Clippers to join him in his public service announcement. These two disasters could have gotten funding from FEMA and saved his foundation a bundle.
