Newport ISP Acquires Irvine’s Atlas Capital

Internet Business’s International Inc., a Newport Beach Internet service provider that runs LA Internet, www.lainet.com, said Thursday it has acquired Atlas Capital Corp. in Irvine.

Terms of the purchase were not disclosed.

Internet Business’s said in a press release that it bought Atlas, a mortgage banker that operates in 24 states, to provide the personnel to make real estate loans through one of its Web sites, www.net2loan.net, and to help it become licensed to make mortgage loans in all 50 states by the end of the year.
