* Lolee Aries has been appointed vice president of production for Nickelodeon Animation Studios in Burbank. She oversees production on all the studio’s in-house animation productions.

Nickelodeon produces television and feature films for children. The company is owned by Viacom International Inc.

* John Wells will join Sport Chalet Inc. of La Canada Flintridge as director of golf operations as part of the acquisition agreement between Sport Chalet and John Wells Golf Shops. The John Wells in-store employees will maintain their current positions within the new organization.

Sport Chalet operates specialty sporting goods and services stores throughout Southern California.

* Donald J. Anderson has been named executive vice president and chief financial officer for Leslie’s Poolmart Inc. of Chatsworth. Anderson held a similar position with Follett Higher Education Group of Oak Brook, Ill.

Leslie’s Poolmart is a specialty retailer of swimming pool supplies nationwide.

* Earl Hurst has been appointed senior vice president of national sales for IPC-The Hospitalist Co. in North Hollywood. He will be responsible for broadening the company’s partnerships within the health-care industry.

IPC is a critical-care physician management company with locations throughout the West and Midwest.

* Diana Malmquist has joined the Woodland Hills Chamber of Commerce staff as membership director. She had served with the Agoura Hills Chamber. Malmquist is a marketing professional.

* Graham Hopper has been appointed senior vice president of Global Toys at Disney Consumer Products in Burbank.

In his new role, Hopper will lead the toys category worldwide and develop the overall strategy to drive business growth.
