FULLERTON
The Fullerton Museum Center will present an exhibition, “Material World: A Global Family Portrait,” from Saturday through Aug. 13.
The exhibition features works by 16 photographers who traveled to 30 nations looking for the answer to one question: Can everyone have everything he or she wants?
The exhibition, produced by Material World Inc. of Napa, Calif., focuses on people’s possessions and the desire to acquire and keep them.
An opening reception for the exhibition will be 7 to 9 p.m. Friday. Dinner, beverages and a preview of the exhibition will be free to museum center members. Cost is $10 for nonmembers.
