Choir Concert to Benefit Stabbing Victim’s Family
The Hoover High School choir’s concert on May 31 will be a benefit for the family of Raul Aguirre, a student who was stabbed to death when he intervened in a gang fight in Glendale on May 5.
The concert of 20th century pops music will also feature songs in memory of Aguirre. It will be at 7 p.m. in Hoover auditorium at Hoover High School, 651 W. Glenwood Road, Glendale. Tickets are $4 for adults and $3 for students and seniors.
