Firm Adds Jiffy Lube in Agoura to Portfolio

Ventura Lube Inc., which owns and operates Jiffy Lube Service Centers in Oxnard, Ventura and Thousand Oaks, has acquired the Jiffy Lube center in Agoura.

Ventura Lube is owned by Maud Huey-Kenyon and John Kenyon of Ojai and has been doing business in Ventura County since 1985. The Agoura Jiffy Lube is just off Kanan Road at 29162 Roadside Drive.

“We’ve wanted to add the Agoura store to our system since we acquired the Thousand Oaks store in 1989 and realized that both stores draw customers from the same neighborhoods in Westlake and Agoura Hills,” Kenyon said. “Now we’ve begun to change the Agoura store to fit in with our philosophy, starting with extended store hours and a fresh new look.”

Ben Cambaliza, who has been general manager of the Ventura Lube stores since last fall, will oversee the Agoura operation as well. Manuel Cardenas has accepted the position of manager of the Agoura Jiffy Lube.
