HUNTINGTON BEACH
Assistant City Administrator Melanie Fallon will leave her post Thursday to work for Long Beach.
Fallon, who has worked for the city since 1994, helped bring high-tech industrial companies such as Sharp Electronics, Konica and AirTech International to the city. Fallon, 50, started working for Huntington Beach as community development director, the position she will fill in Long Beach.
