According to “Closing the Financial Literacy Gap” (May 9), women “are victims of a complex set of historical, sociological and familial circumstances that conspire to keep many of them financially illiterate.”

The poor dears. I suppose the same set of “historical, sociological and familial circumstances” have “conspired” to keep them from taking classes or reading about financial matters.
