Anyone who thinks Junior Brown is out of place headlining Saturday’s Doheny Blues Festival lineup in Dana Point because he’s a country picker hasn’t heard him shred the blues so convincingly that Stevie Ray Vaughan would have doffed his hat in respect. “Stupid Blues” on his most recent album, “Long Walk Back,” proves him a master of the form in a single seven-minute showcase.
