Software Firm Mysmart.com Names 2 to Senior VP Posts

* Mysmart.com, a Los Angeles-based e-commerce software developer, has named Stephan McRae senior vice president of technology responsible for the creation and development of Mysmart products and services. Most recently, McRae was president of Performance Technology Group.

Mysmart.com also named Margaret Cook, a former vice president of customer operations at Go.com, as senior vice president of operations with responsibility for Web site maintenance.

* Jennifer Brockett has joined the communications media and information technologies practice at the Los Angeles law firm of Davis Wright Tremaine as an associate. Formerly in the litigation department of Mayer, Brown & Platt, Brockett specializes in intellectual property issues.

* Architectural design firm Perkins & Will, based in Santa Monica, has named Nick Seierup to the newly created post of director of design and principal of the firm. Seierup previously was a partner at Steven Ehrlich Architects in Culver City.

* Career services firm Lee Hecht Harrision has appointed Jamie Martin as client relations manager in the company’s Pasadena office. She is a former supervisor/trainer for PacifiCare Health Systems.
