Pulley-Shaw Appointed to Prudential Relocation Post

Karen Pulley-Shaw has been appointed vice president, international business development for Prudential Relocation International in Irvine. Pulley-Shaw, who joined Prudential Relocation’s Houston region in 1992 as vice president of sales, moved to Irvine in 1997 to focus on building the company’s West Coast business.

* Tara S. Toction has joined Corbin & Wertz in Irvine as a corporate development consultant. She was previously a financial services officer with First Bank and Trust.

* John C. Adams has been appointed chief executive of EcomTextile.com in Fullerton. He was formerly chairman, president and chief executive of Russell Corp.

* Kathy McCoy has been appointed executive vice president for Continuing Medical Education Inc. in Irvine and will assume operational responsibilities for the company. McCoy had been senior vice president of marketing and multimedia. In addition, David J. DeNinno, president and chief operating officer of the company, announced his retirement. He had been with the company since 1988 and was named president in 1991.

* Stephen Lash has been named to the newly created position of director of supply chain management for El Pollo Loco in Irvine. Before joining the company, Lash was director of supply and distribution worldwide for Burger King Corp. He has held management positions in distribution, purchasing and logistics for Richfood Inc., Carolina Freight Carriers Corp. and Ralston Purina Co.

* Rick Weisehan has been appointed director of marketing for Kia Motors America in Irvine. He succeeds Jim Sanfilippo, former vice president of marketing, who resigned. Weisehan had been marketing manager.
