Drunk Driving

* I read your May 9 editorial concerning the recklessness of drinking drivers who have children as passengers. It reminded me of my long-time belief that when we as a society really want to reduce drunk driving, we will post our sobriety checkpoints, at random times, outside the parking lots of bars and restaurants. There is no question in my mind that a significant percentage of drivers leaving these establishments are above the legal minimum blood-alcohol level.
