Warner Bros. Studio Store is recalling about 3,800 rattles and 1,000 pairs of sandals that bear the image of the cartoon character Tweety because small parts of each product can detach and pose a choking hazard to young children.

The company, based in Burbank, has received three reports of parents removing detached parts from their babies’ mouths, the Consumer Product Safety Commission said Thursday. No injuries have been reported.

The rattle is sold as part of a Tweety Bib, Rattle and Spoon Set. The rattle, which is covered with a yellow cloth and is about 5 inches long, looks like Tweety wearing a small blue and white bib.

The bib can detach, posing a choking hazard.

The Tweety sandals are girls’ swimwear sandals made of transparent pink plastic with embedded sparkles and a picture on the inside soles of Tweety sitting on flowers.

The sandals, sold in infant sizes from 3 to 15 months, have three detachable round plastic flowers on top.

Warner Bros. Studio Stores nationwide sold the Tweety Bib, Rattle and Spoon sets from August 1998 through January for about $15 and the sandals from February through April for about $10.

The safety commission advises consumers to take these products away from children immediately and return them to a Warner Bros. Studio Store for a refund.

For more information, consumers can call the Warner Bros. Studio Store at (800) 795-9277 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. PDT Monday through Friday.
