Memorial Day Closings
Monday marks the celebration of Memorial Day, which honors and remembers those who died in the nation’s wars.
* Mail: All post offices will be closed and only Express Mail will be delivered.
* Banks: Most banks and savings and loan institutions will be closed.
* Courts: All courts will be closed.
* Schools: Most public schools will be closed.
* Government: All federal, state, county and municipal offices, except those providing emergency services, will be closed.
* Transportation: Buses and Metrolink trains will not be running, but Amtrak will maintain the weekend schedule.
* Trash: Collection will be delayed one day from the regular schedule.
