The City Council will consider a proposal Thursday that will establish new procedures for collecting parking violations issued in the city.
Staff have recommended the council sign an agreement with Data Ticket Inc. to collect fines and process requests of people asking to have tickets overturned. The Orange County Sheriff’s Department will continue to issue tickets, which range from $25 to $275, for all parking violations on public roads within the city.
