Miguel Harth-Bedoya conducts the Los Angeles Philharmonic in an Aaron Copland program this weekend, noting what would have been the late composer’s 100th birthday (Nov. 14, 1900). With veteran mezzo-soprano Marilyn Horne singing some of the “Old American Songs,” the program also offers a sampling of Copland’s music for films, the revised Symphony Ode (1955) and the Suite from “Appalachian Spring.”
