Ocean View School District is seeking applicants to serve on a three-member Personnel Commission responsible for establishing a merit system policy. The commission also would serve as an appellate body on non-teaching employee disciplinary and teaching appeals.
While the positions are not compensated, commissioners are eligible for health benefits. Commissioners meet monthly for one to two hours.
Applicants need to live in Huntington Beach. The deadline to apply is 4:30 p.m. Nov. 20. For more information, call the district office at (714) 847-2551.
