Board members of the Garden Grove Unified School District voted to approve contracting with the South Coast Priority School-Dover in Newport Beach to provide special-needs students with services the district may not have available for some disabled pupils.
Board members voted last week to seek bids for a renovation plan at the Hare School, a site where a continuation school may open by September 2001. The school, which was recently vacated by former tenants, is at Chapman and Magnolia avenues, in Garden Grove.
The board’s next meeting is scheduled for Nov. 21.
