* Raymond Lane, former president of Oracle Corp., said he joined the board of Asera Inc., a closely held maker of technology to help businesses get different business-software programs to work together.

* Web-based encyclopedia Britannica.com said it will slash 75 jobs, or nearly 25% of its work force, mostly in its Chicago headquarters.

* Computer Sciences Corp. said it acquired a 60% stake in Denmark’s Scandinavian Healthcare Informatics for an undisclosed sum. Computer Sciences said the purchase will make it the largest provider of information-technology services for hospitals in Denmark.
