HUNTINGTON BEACH
Ocean View School District trustees are expected tonight to rescind their approval of plans to build a gymnasium at each of the district’s four middle schools.
Residents around the schools had complained that they were left out of the decision-making and cited concerns over traffic and parking if the gyms were built. The district will now wait until a community advisory committee submits recommendations to the board before making a final decision. The trustees meet at 7 p.m. in the boardroom, 17200 Pinehurst Lane.
