Jerald Lewis New Chairman of First American Trust

Jerald P. Lewis has been named chairman of the board of First American Trust, a subsidiary of First American Corp. in Santa Ana. Lewis has been president of First American Trust for the last six years. Before that, he was senior vice president and trust services group manager. Succeeding Lewis as president is Thomas M. Kelley, who had been executive vice president.

In addition, Roddy R. Ennico was named chairman of another First American unit, First American Capital Management Inc. He will also serve as executive vice president of First American Trust. Ennico had been chief financial officer and treasurer for BTM Information Systems. He has been vice president of Citibank/Citicorp, vice president of Shearson Lehman Brothers, senior vice president of Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette and managing director for Nikko Financial Services. Mark A. Hoppe has joined the company as president after serving as vice president-investments for First Security Van Kasper. Hoppe was formerly vice president-investments for Prudential Securities and president of Buffalo Capital Corp. Robert S. Venable is the new executive vice president and chief investment officer. He was previously vice president of global asset allocation for Pimco Advisors L.P. His prior experience includes vice president-equity portfolio manager for Pacific Investment Management Co. and financial analyst at the Franklin Mint.
