20 Helicopter Complaints Lodged
More than 20 complaints have been filed by residents with the city in the last several months over noisy helicopters flying over neighborhoods.
The concerns are registered with the city through a helicopter-complaint process that was finalized in May by San Clemente and the U.S. Marine Corps.
The Marines maintain a weekly log of complaints and faxes it to the city clerk, even if no complaints have been received. The Marine Corps responds directly to residents who filed the complaints.
