Lisa Glatch New Senior V.P. at Fluor Corp.

Lisa Glatch has been named senior vice president of human resources and administration for Fluor Corp. in Aliso Viejo. She succeeds Frederick J. Grigsby Jr., who resigned. Glatch was formerly a senior executive with Jacobs Engineering in Long Beach, where she oversaw West Coast operations. Before that, she was with Fluor for 13 years in a variety of management posts, including top aide to the chief operating officer of Fluor Daniel and vice president of Global Automation for Fluor Daniel.

* Charles F. Cargile has been appointed vice president and chief financial officer of Newport Corp. in Irvine. He succeeds Robert C. Hewitt, who announced his retirement earlier this year. Cargile was previously vice president, finance and corporate development for York International Corp. Before joining York in 1998, Cargile was corporate controller and chief accounting officer at Flowserve Corp.

* Bill Hale has been named president and chief executive of Beech Street Corp. in Irvine. He previously served as president and chief operating officer. Hale will also assume the added title of president and chief executive of LinkMe2, a new company being launched by Beech Street in January.

* Bruce Pine has been named vice president of sales and marketing for Hotel Information Systems, a division of MAI Systems Corp. in Irvine. He joined the company as director of sales in 1998. Pine was formerly director of hotel operations for Trump Plaza Hotel and Casino and general manager at both the Dorset and Warwick Hotels in New York City. In addition, Stephan Setran, who was previously manager of quality assurance, was appointed vice president of support services. Before joining the company, Setran was with Country Side Inn and Suites, Brentwood Suites Hotel and Radisson Hotels.

* John Misuraca has been appointed corporate controller of Creative Works in Irvine. He was formerly controller at Newport Printing Systems in Irvine and held similar positions at Hartwell Corp. and Moen Industries.

* Ralph Dauria is the new vice president of advertising sales for Skytron Corp. in Irvine. Dauria had been director of new technology sales for the CBS Television Network. Before that, he was senior account executive for WCBS-TV in New York.

* Paul Calvin has been named piano marketing manager for the piano division of Yamaha Corp. of America in Buena Park. He had been digital/acoustic keyboard marketing manager since 1997. Craig Knudsen was appointed electronic keyboard marketing manager. He has been a keyboard specialist since joining the company 15 years ago.

* Katherine Burdick has joined RBF Consulting in Irvine as vice president of human resources and corporate affairs. She has more than 20 years of experience in human resource management.

* Donald Huey has been named customer service manager for ITT Industries, Cannon in Santa Ana. Huey was previously director of customer service for Hill Corp.

* Mark A. Townsell is the new vice president of software development for NexTier Solutions Corp. Prior to joining the company, Townsell was with MAI Systems Corp. in Irvine for 21 years.

* Jose Candia has been appointed senior vice president of sales and operations for CentreCom in Costa Mesa. Before joining CentreCom, Candia was director of corporate care for AT&T; Wireless.

* Steven DeMar, founder and president of InfoRamp and original founder of Cellular One, has joined the board of directors of NetPack Inc.

* Frank L. Haselton has been promoted to principal of LSA Associates Inc. in Irvine. Haselton has been with LSA for five years. He has more than 20 years of planning experience in both the private and public sectors.

* William A. Garland has been named vice president of scientific affairs for Atairgin Technologies Inc. in Irvine. He was formerly executive vice president of pharmaceutical development at Centaur Pharmaceuticals and senior director and U.S. head of international project management at Hoffmann-La Roche.

* Eric R. Hohl has been selected vice president and chief financial officer of Phobo.com in Irvine, a network of interactive Web sites. Hohl joined the company from Billabong, where he was chief financial officer. He has also been chief operating officer and chief financial officer of Hard Candy Inc. and executive vice president, chief operating officer, director and secretary of Mossimo Inc. In addition, Christine A. Cassiano was named manager of communications, public relations and investor relations. She had been manager of investor relations at Tickets.com Inc. Miriam V. Herrera was named interactive marketing manager and P. Craig Hastie, customer acquisition coordinator. Herrera previously served as a marketing specialist for ESAT Inc., and Hastie was formerly a Boeing Co. graphic designer and proposal planner for business development in Southern California.
