Universal Studio Home Video Taps 3 Marketing Executives

* Universal Studios Home Video has named three executives in its marketing department. Hilary Hoffman has been promoted to vice president, brand marketing, with oversight of marketing activities for Universal’s home video rental properties. Chris Saito, a former MGM Home Entertainment executive, has been tapped as vice president, brand marketing, with responsibility for all marketing activities relating to DreamWorks home video and DVD products. Randy Malinoff has been named vice president, Internet marketing. He is a former K-Tel Online general manager.

* Creative Services Advertising, a Los Angeles-based advertising firm, has added Jeiran Lashai as director for developing and executing marketing strategies.

* Michael Carrigan, a former executive at CarsDirect.com, has joined 4Therapy.com as chief financial officer. Launched in August, Culver City-based 4Therapy.com is a subscription-based Web site for consumers and mental health professionals.

* Michael Palmer has stepped down as chief executive of Esat Inc., a broadband Internet service provider based in Los Angeles. The company’s board has appointed current Chairman Chester Noblett interim chief executive, pending a search for a permanent CEO.

* Beth Bradmon has been named chief financial officer of online music site Soundbreak.com of Los Angeles. Prior to joining Soundbreak.com, she was eastern region finance director at Landor Associates, a branding and design firm.

* Kennedy-Wilson Inc., a Los Angeles-based real estate investment, marketing and property management firm, has made several executive appointments. James Rosten has been promoted to president of its Kennedy-Wilson Properties Ltd. unit; John Prabhu has been named senior managing director, Southern California; and Karen Stromme has been tapped as senior managing director, Northern California., also of Kennedy-Wilson Properties.
