Special Devices Completes Divestiture of Scot Inc.

Special Devices Inc. in Moorpark, which designs pyrotechnic devices for the aerospace and automotive industries, has completed the divestiture of its subsidiary Scot Inc. to an investor group.

Scot, located in Downers Grove, Ill., manufactures pyrotechnic devices for the aerospace and defense industries.

Special Devices is a privately held corporation whose principal shareholders are affiliates of J. F. Lehman & Co.
