Meles Is Reelected Prime Minister
Ethiopian Prime Minister Meles Zenawi was reelected by acclamation, winning another five-year term in a vote in a Parliament dominated by his party. Meles emphasized the need to continue the peace process with Eritrea and relaunch development projects interrupted by the two-year Ethiopian-Eritrean war.
