Motorola Inc.’s pending $160-million acquisition of Printrak International Inc. in Anaheim has received antitrust clearance from the Federal Trade Commission.

The agency said Thursday that the companies have been granted early termination of the waiting period required under the Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act.

Motorola agreed to acquire Printrak for about $12.14 a share in cash. The deal, which has been approved by Printrak shareholders, is expected to close in the fourth quarter.
