Powerwave’s $11.6-Million Net More Than Doubles 1999 Gain

Powerwave Technologies Inc.:, The Irvine designer and manufacturer of wireless communications products posted net income of $11.6 million, or 18 cents a share, for the third quarter, more than double the $5.6 million, or 9 cents a share, recorded a year ago. Sales gained 46% to $111.9 million.
