Hijacked Plane Returns From Iraq
A Saudi plane with 90 passengers returned home from Iraq early today after a hijack ordeal that ended peacefully in Baghdad. Iraqi authorities negotiated a peaceful end to the seizure and arrested the hijackers, who said they were seeking the abolition of the archconservative Saudi monarchy and more rights for Saudis. The passengers and 18 crew members all reportedly were in good shape.
