Unipass Technologies Names Bartholomew Its CEO
* Michael Bartholomew is the new president and chief executive of Unipass Technologies in Irvine. Bartholomew was most recently president and chief operating officer of Creditland Inc. Before that, he was chief operating officer of Cheap Tickets Corp., senior vice president of customer management of Providian Financial Corp., president of Sierra Technology International and chief operating officer of Gelco Corp.
* Gretchen Demartini has been named vice president of human resources for First American Corp. in Santa Ana. Demartini joined the title insurer in 1995 as vice president of human resources for First American Real Estate Information Services, a subsidiary. In 1997, she was named senior vice president of human resources for that division.
* John D’Alusio has been appointed senior vice president of HNC Insurance Solutions in Irvine, a division of HNC Software Inc., and Chris Shannahan was named senior vice president, bill review business unit. D’Alusio was previously senior vice president at Zenith Insurance Co., responsible for managing workers’ compensation claim activities in the Southeast. Shannahan rejoined HNC after serving as director of claims integration with Zenith Insurance Co. Kelly Stephen has been appointed vice president of product development. He was formerly vice president of product development at CCC Information Services Inc.
* Paula Pappas has joined the Hilton Waterfront Beach Resort in Huntington Beach as sales manager. She had been with the Golden Nugget in Las Vegas for the past six years, most recently as corporate sales account executive.
