Eight local tech firms will strut their stuff Thursday at the 5th annual Diamond Venture Forum in Riverside. The event is aimed at raising the profile of emerging companies, particularly those in the Inland Empire, to match them with potential investors.

The presenting companies are: San Bernardino-based Cool Sonic International, a maker of digital audio amplifiers; Corona-based ConstructionGuys.com, a one-stop Internet portal for contractors; Doyle Software, a San Bernardino developer of payment processing software; Mobile Productivity, a Rancho Cucamonga maker of laptop computer accessories; Petitedesigners.com, an Upland site for petite fashions; Syscon Test, a Long Beach systems-testing software company; Newport Beach-based Upgradebase.com, a content provider for e-commerce sites; and Video Symphony of Burbank, which provides corporate training.
