Levinsohn Named to News Digital Post

* Ross Levinsohn has been named senior vice president for News Digital Media, the U.S. digital division of News Corp. based in Los Angeles. Levinsohn will be responsible for spearheading marketing, business strategy and development, strategic alliances and creative services. He previously was a senior executive at AltaVista Network.

* Landscape Entertainment, a Los Angeles-based entertainment production company, has tapped Judy Ranan as president of its television division. Ranan had been president of Citadel Entertainment.

* Michael Winchester has been tapped as vice president and chief financial officer of Film Roman Inc., a North Hollywood animation studio. He previously worked as a senior financial executive at Sony Pictures Entertainment Cos.

* Los Angeles-based DES, a media technology company, has appointed Sean Sullivan senior vice president and chief sales officer. He is a former broadcast sales and services executive at Teleglobe Communications Corp. in Reston, Va.

* TelePacific Communications, a broadband telecom provider based in Los Angeles, has named Harrison Bliss vice president of revenue assurance, with oversight of all revenue-assurance activities. Bliss was most recently a telecommunications consulting project manager for Lucent Technologies.
