Knox New E-Commerce VP at Wet Seal

Siobhan Knox has joined Wet Seal Inc. in Foothill Ranch as vice president of E-commerce. She had been director of catalog and E-commerce operations at Abercrombie & Fitch Inc. She also served as director of financial planning and analysis. Before that, she was with Urban Outfitters.

* Karen S. Ebbing has been named vice president of corporate services for First American Corp. in Santa Ana. Ebbing joined the company in 1987 as assistant vice president in the administration department of the company’s principal subsidiary, First American Title Insurance Co. In 1995, she was named vice president of risk management. Nancy Milleen Pettus has been named vice president and counsel for human resources. Pettus joined First American’s national legal department in January 1987 and most recently served as vice president-personnel counsel for First American Title Insurance Co. In addition, Thomas M. Linden has joined First American Corp.’s board of directors. He is president and chief executive of Linco Investment Co., a Newport Beach company that develops and manages real estate and other investments.

Newsmaker--An item in Sunday’s Orange County Newsmakers column mistakenly identified the board that Thomas M. Linden joined. Linden became a director of First American Trust Co., a subsidiary of First American Corp.

* Bryan Benso has been appointed Orange County area manager for Gafcon Inc., a San Diego-based construction management firm. Before joining the company in 1994 as a project manager, he was an independent general contractor in Illinois.

* Rachel Daniels has been named account coordinator at the Newport Beach advertising agency of Lawrence, Mayo & Ponder. She had been an Internet development and research intern at MusicPlayer3.com in Massachusetts.

* Alison Gregg has been appointed executive director of human resources for HNC Insurance Solutions in Irvine, a division of HNC Software Inc. She was previously vice president of human resources at Embion Inc. Gregg also directed human resource departments at ATL Products, Sorin Biomedical Inc. and Unisys Corp.

* Jacquin D. Anastasio has joined Pretend City, the Children’s Museum of Orange County Inc. as director of development and capital campaign. She previously owned JDA Consulting and continues to own Wrap It, a business in the entertainment industry. In addition, Jessica Ruskin was named education, exhibits and program coordinator. She previously worked for Kidspace Museum in Pasadena, Discovery Creek Children’s Museum in Washington, D.C., and the Smithsonian Early Enrichment Center. Groundbreaking for Pretend City in Irvine is scheduled for late next year.

* Cynthia Hunter has been appointed sales and marketing representative for Keystone Pacific Property Management Inc. in Irvine. She was formerly investment and accounts payable manager.

* Jane Drury has joined Strategic HR Services in Costa Mesa as a consultant. She was formerly human resources manager for Hammer Technologies and Iris Graphics, both in Massachusetts.

* John Baker has joined Sandler Sales Institute in Irvine to handle outside sales and personal coaching. He had been a scout with the New York Jets.

* John Driscoll, Michael W. Gibbons and Bonnie E. Kehe have been installed as officers of the Orange County board of trustees of the Olive Crest Abused Children’s Foundation. Driscoll, senior financial consultant with Merrill Lynch Private Client group, is the new president of the board. Gibbons, founder of Fairmont Capital Inc., was appointed vice president of programs. Kehe, senior vice president and regional manager for Comerica Bank, was named vice president of operations.

* Sheila Wolkow has been named transportation manager for Santa Ana-based TLC Transportation Staffing’s new Inland Empire office in Ontario. Before joining the company, she was with Staffmark in a similar position. In addition, Beth O’Leary was appointed transportation coordinator. She was also with Staffmark.

* Debra Roberts has been named controller of Professional Community Management Inc. in Lake Forest. She was previously assistant controller.
