Blacks Find Internet More Useful: Study

Although blacks still lag in access to the Internet, a study finds that those who are connected are more likely than whites to use it as an information tool. Of black Americans with online access, 45% found the Internet useful for getting health care information, compared with 35% of white Net users, the Pew Internet & American Life Project found. The report also said blacks were more likely than whites to use the Internet to find information on religion, jobs and housing.
