Asian Business Expo

Asian business owners can learn how to increase their bottom line at a small-business expo Tuesday in downtown Los Angeles.

Included in the daylong program will be marketing and cost-cutting workshops, individualized business counseling, assistance in finding capital and other services.

Expo sponsors include the Asian Pacific Islander Small Business Program and the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce. Asians and Pacific Islanders account for more than 40% of all minority business owners in Los Angeles County. Speakers will include successful small-business owners as well as representatives from large corporations and government agencies.

The event is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Los Angeles chamber offices at 350 S. Bixel St. For more information, call (213) 473-1605.
