Rainbow Technologies Inc.

The Irvine provider of Internet and e-commerce security software reported third-quarter net income of $4.6 million, or 17 cents a share, more than double the $2.1 million, or 9 cents a share, posted for the year-ago period. Revenue rose 45% to a record $43.8 million.
