LAGUNA BEACH
A 7-foot bronze sculpture titled “Deer Warrior” has been donated to the city by local artist Cheryl Ekstrom. The sculpture was once part of a larger exhibition at Moulton Meadows Park.
The sculpture will be dedicated Thursday at 6 p.m., coinciding with the First Thursday Art Walk and an exhibition of Cheryl and Dennis Ekstrom’s work at the Peter Blake Gallery.
The unveiling will be at Jahraus Park, opposite the Laguna Art Museum between Cliff Drive and North Coast Highway. A reception will follow at the gallery.
