Ask Jeeves Inc., an Internet question-and-answer service, said it formed a partnership with media company Univision Communications Inc. to create a Spanish-language search service on the Web, to be called Ask Jeeves en Espanol. The 50-50 partnership also will create Ask Jeeves Business Solutions for companies serving Spanish speakers on line. Los Angeles-based Univision is the largest U.S. Spanish-language TV network. The partnership was announced after the markets closed. Emeryville, Calif.-based Ask Jeeves rose $2.50 to close at $30.50 on Nasdaq, while Univision fell $2.25 to close at $44.13 on the NYSE.
